In my everyday life and in my practice of Christian ministry, I believe in giving people the opportunity to speak their truth and tell their story in a safe and confidential space, without fear of judgment or condemnation. This has made it easier for people to share the difficulties they have and continue to experience in their lives. It’s been especially beneficial to those wishing to fulfill Steps 4 and 5 of 12-step addictions programs. I strongly believe in the effectiveness of empathy and compassionate listening for building trust and understanding, and setting the groundwork for healing.
I am affirming of people who identify as cisgender, transgender, and those who embrace life as LGBTQ2S+.
